With 2024 just finished, there is more to come in 2025. Of course, my number one goal is to finish and pass my PIDP capstone Project as I'm finally wrapping up this incredible journey with Vancouver Community College!
I also want to keep up the pace I took in learning new e-tools and continue learning how to incorporate and use technologies best. One of the best time and money investments of 2024 was the Camtasia course I took, which made me feel free and confident editing learning videos and using many new features to enhance learning.

Secondly, I aim to finish the Specialization I started at the University of Michigan (the first part was completed in 2024): The Generative AI as a Learning Design Partner Specialization. This excellent program helps to discover and utilize generative AI as a collaborative tool for diverse design tasks and contexts.

Attending instructional design conferences in 2025 offers valuable opportunities to network, expand knowledge, and stay updated in the growing field. I'd love to participate in the following conferences:
The Canadian eLearning Conference 2025 will be held June 12 and 13 in Toronto, Ontario. I hope to gain insights into cutting-edge educational trends and enhance my expertise in designing impactful learning experiences.
LXDCON'25 – The 10th Annual Learning Experience Design Conference. Attending an online conference for learning designers provides flexible access to industry insights, global networking opportunities, and the latest trends in instructional design from anywhere.

I have also set a reading goal, and fingers crossed, I'll manage to complete it. The book recommended by many professionals in the field, Map It: The hands-on guide to strategic training design by acclaimed educator and instructional designer Cathy Moore. The book aims to transform training requests into impactful projects by identifying performance issues, designing practical activities, and selecting the best delivery methods. It introduces action mapping—a global visual approach to create targeted, effective training solutions.
At this point, I have no additional plans beyond those already outlined; however, I remain hopeful and determined to accomplish all the goals I have set for myself.
